Ben Wiener is a cinematographer based in New York City. Originally from the Midwest, his background in documentary filmmaking and a life spent traveling for both work and surfing inform his story-first approach. Having met and shared stories with people across the globe, Ben focuses on finding the visual "root" of every concept. He lets the heart of the project guide his aesthetic no matter if he’s on a narrative set or a commercial shoot. Working across both digital and analog film, Ben focuses on creating intentional, grounded imagery that feels as honest as the project itself.
